The Southwood Foundation activities to help combat climate change and reverse biodiversity loss have been included in the Association of Charitable Foundation’s second annual report on the Funders’ Commitment on Climate Change. All charitable foundations, regardless of their primary mission, are called upon to rise to the unprecedented challenge of climate change and ensure the climate crisis is addressed in their activities, investments and policies. The report details progress made across the sector and steps taken by signatories.
The Southwood Foundation was a founder signatory of the commitment and continues to deliver on its commitments, actively supporting a range of activities from joint action at sector level through to community led microprojects.
