When a request came in to the Nature Action Hub for tree planting advice from Laughton Greenwood, we were delighted to find an expert volunteer who could help. The Hub exists to connect experts wanting to volunteer their environmental expertise with community groups taking action to restore nature. This project in East Sussex was an excellent example of where we can help.

Our expert volunteer was able to give the organisers advice on planting considerations to help ensure the long term success of the initiative.  Despite the December weather, many volunteers came to help with the planting and a total of 230 trees were planted, an excellent outcome for all involved.
