We’re delighted to learn that Lewes Golf Club has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Environmental Sustainability category of the Active Sussex Awards.

This award is open to a Sussex sports club, organisation or project that is taking steps to reduce its environmental impact such as tackling greenhouse gas emissions, promoting a circular economy or increasing biodiversity, and is advocating this crucial area of work to others.

Lewes Golf Club hosted our first Nature Links seminar,  where we brought local golf clubs together for the first time to discuss nature recovery and environmental protection. Our Nature Links network now extends across the county, connecting golf clubs to celebrate their nature conservation work, share best practice and support their ambitious plans and action.
